How is the inheritance of a woman who died leaving a sole daughter, and two brothers who predeceased her, to be divided, given that these two brothers have sons and daughters?

The two brothers have no share in the estate of a woman who died before them. The heirs are the daughter and the sons of her brothers. The daughter receives one-half, and the remaining portion is distributed among the sons of her brothers by ta’sib (agnatic inheritance), divided equally among them. It is advisable to refer inheritance matters to the Sharia courts to verify the existence of other heirs, wills, debts, or rights that take precedence over the rights of the heirs.
