"It is not known from Warsh via the path of al-Azraq except for the lengthening (madd) of the detached (munfasil), which was explicitly stated by Al-Jazari, Al-Suyuti, Al-Banna, and others. This is also apparent from the words of Al-Dani and Al-Shatibi. As for the shortening (qasr) of the detached (munfasil) for Warsh, it is a narration from Al-Isbahani on his authority."
