Is it a condition for the three days of fasting for an oath's expiation to be consecutive?

It is not obligatory to fast the three days for an oath's expiation consecutively, due to the unrestricted nature of Allah Almighty's saying: (Fasting for three days), as He did not restrict it to consecutive days. So, if one fasts them separately, it is sufficient for him. This is the opinion of Malik and Al-Shafi'i, and it is preferable even if not a condition.
