Should multiple expiations for oaths be observed consecutively, or should there be a three-day break between each?
The expiation for breaking an oath is feeding ten poor persons, or clothing them, or freeing a slave. Whoever is unable to do these should fast. It is permissible to combine two expiations by fasting, for instance, by fasting six days, with every three days counting as an expiation. Continuity is not a condition between the fasts of expiation.
