Will Allah Almighty descend to Earth at the end of the universe or on any other day?

The coming of Allah Almighty to judge on the Day of Resurrection is affirmed in the Holy Quran, including His saying: "Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds and the angels [as well] and the matter is concluded? And to Allah [all] matters are returned." And the earth will shine with the light of Allah on the day He comes to judge, as He Almighty said: "And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord." One must believe in this attribute without questioning its modality, for its modality is known only to Allah Almighty. And He, glorified be He, is unlike His creation, for He said: "There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing."
