Where is God? Will we be able to meet God on the Day of Judgment?

Allah the Almighty is above His heavens, established upon His Throne, and the meeting with Allah the Almighty and His vision will occur on the Day of Resurrection. Meeting Allah after death is glad tidings for the believer of Allah's pleasure, while for the disbeliever, it is glad tidings of torment. Death is not the meeting with Allah, but rather a means to it. The blameworthy dislike of death is preferring this world over the Hereafter, whereas disliking it out of fear of falling short is excusable. Seeing Allah in this world is impossible, while it is affirmed for believers on the Day of Resurrection, as indicated by the sacred texts.
