If the deceased leaves behind only a mother, a father, a wife, and a daughter, then the mother receives one-sixth, the father receives one-sixth, the wife receives one-eighth, and the daughter receives one-half, due to the presence of a lineal descendant heir. The remainder is taken by the father by way of ta'sib (residuary inheritance).

The inheritance is divided into 24 shares: the mother receives 4 shares, the wife receives 3 shares, the daughter receives 12 shares, and the father receives 4 shares by fard (prescribed share) and 1 share by ta'sib (totaling 5 shares).
