Is the statement that torment will cease and Hell will perish, or the statement that it is impossible to see Allah in this world and the Hereafter, considered a corrupt belief that leads its holder to Hellfire for contradicting definitive texts from the Quran and Sunnah?

The Sunnis and the Community (Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah) believe that Paradise and Hellfire have been created and will neither perish nor cease to exist. They have adduced texts from the Qur’an and the Sunnah that confirm the eternal dwelling of disbelievers and hypocrites in Hellfire, and the eternal dwelling of believers in Paradise.

Furthermore, believers will see their Lord in Paradise. This is indicated by the texts of the Qur’an and the Sunnah, and there is a consensus among the Companions and their Successors regarding it. As for seeing Allah in this world, it is intellectually permissible but has not occurred according to religious law.
