What is the meaning of the cessation of Hellfire?

The assertion that Hell will perish is invalid, made by some people of desires and innovation. The definitive texts of revelation from the Qur'an and Sunnah have clarified the eternity of Hell and the perpetual abode of its inhabitants therein for whoever dies upon disbelief. This is the creed of the Ahl al-Sunnah, for Paradise and Hell are created and will neither perish nor be destroyed.
