Is publicizing a sin an act of disbelief that expels one from the faith, and is publicizing it without knowing that it is an act of disbelief that expels one from the faith considered disbelief?

Publicly committing sins is not an act of disbelief (kufr) unless it stems from considering such acts permissible (istihlal). However, its matter is grave because it deprives a person of Allah's forgiveness and well-being, for "All of my Ummah will be forgiven except for those who commit sins openly." Those who disclose their sins after Allah has concealed them, without a [valid] benefit, are condemned. It is permissible, however, if there is a benefit, such as seeking a fatwa or prayer. As for those who commit sins openly out of disdain, contempt, and boastfulness, there is a fear of disbelief for them. For example, whoever boasts about fornication is as if they have deemed it permissible, and whoever deems it permissible is a disbeliever.
