Is it obligatory to make up missed prayers for one who worked with an army that forbade and punished for prayer, and he did not pray out of fear and ignorance?

One must repent to Allah the Almighty for abandoning prayers and for working in an army where prayer is forbidden and those who pray are punished, unless the person is coerced into it. This army is more wicked than the Tatar army, which Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah described as having the majority of its members not praying, lacking muezzins or imams, and that those who joined them were among the most evil of creation. All missed prayers must be made up.
