What is the ruling on one who missed the prayer while on the battlefield, and how did the Prophet (peace be upon him) miss four prayers during the Battle of the Trench and then make them up? And does this ruling apply to every Muslim fighting in the path of Allah these days?

If there is no fighting or fear of a sudden enemy attack, soldiers perform their usual prayers. However, if they are facing the enemy in battle lines or fear an attack from them, they perform the fear prayer (Salat al-Khawf). In cases of intense fighting and inability to perform the prayer in its usual form, each individual prays according to their situation and ability, even if by gesturing. If they are unable to perform the prayer at its prescribed time due to extreme necessity, such as being preoccupied with fighting, they should pray it after its time has passed, once they are able, and there is no sin upon them. This delay is not part of the usual practice of the fear prayer; rather, it is for one who forgot or was preoccupied from prayer due to an overwhelming necessity.
