The question

With this income, can I get married now, knowing that I feel a strong need to marry for fear of disobeying Allah, or is it better to wait until my fiancée finishes her studies? And is Zakat obligatory for me with this income, and how do I pay it?

The answer

Expediting the marriage is better, and if you can convince your fiancée's family of this, it would be good.

As for , if you have saved from your income an amount that reaches the (threshold) of gold or silver, and a full lunar year has passed while it is in your possession, then you must pay one-quarter of one-tenth (2.5%) of it and disburse it to the categories mentioned in Surat At-: "Indeed, zakat expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect [zakat] and for bringing hearts together [for Islam] and for freeing captives [or slaves] and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the [stranded] traveler - an obligation [imposed] by Allah . And Allah is Knowing and Wise."
