ما هي الآيات التي فيها أن كلمة الناس تشمل الجن والإنس؟

The word "An-Nas" (mankind) in the Quran does not include jinn. The opinion of some exegetes that the Almighty's saying: (Who whispers in the breasts of mankind) includes both jinn and humans is a weak opinion. Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn Al-Qayyim clarified that the word "An-Nas" is too clear and well-known to include jinn, and that if it were so, it would be both a division of a thing and a part of it. Furthermore, Allah the Almighty addresses both jinn and humans with His saying: "O company of jinn and mankind," and distinguishes between jinn and mankind in His saying: (from among the jinn and mankind), which indicates that they are distinct from each other, and one does not fall under the other. For mankind was named 'insan' because they are visible, and jinn were named 'jinn' because they are hidden. Therefore, it is not correct to apply the name "An-Nas" to them generally. As for applying the name "men" (rijal) to jinn, it is restricted by context and does not imply applying the name "An-Nas" to them.
