Does the oath of one who swore not to masturbate—believing that masturbation is only sexual practice with the hand—include all types of masturbation?

Swearing by Allah is permissible if the intention is to show trust and good faith in Him, but it is forbidden if the intention is arrogance and conceit. Swearing by Allah is a binding oath, and the intention of the swearer is considered. So, whoever swears to abstain from masturbation and intends a specific type of it, then expiation becomes obligatory upon him if he masturbates in that manner. It is obligatory to cease this reprehensible act and repent for what has passed.
