Will Allah forgive my parents and me, and have mercy on us, the Exalted, and will my parents forgive me if I perform the aforementioned deeds?

We ask Allah to improve your solace regarding your father. Alcohol is the mother of all evils. No matter how much a father wrongs, it is not permissible for his child to wrong him in return. Your anger, insults, and neglect towards him constitute disobedience. You have done well by feeling remorse. What is incumbent upon you is sincere repentance with its conditions. Part of perfect repentance is seeking absolution from the rights of creation. There is no way to ask for his forgiveness due to his death, but have good hope in your Lord, and think well of Him. Be keen to show filial piety to your father by supplicating for mercy and forgiveness for him, and by giving charity on his behalf. May Allah be pleased with him, be pleased with you, and make him pleased.
