Is the divorced wife's father entitled to insist on going himself to collect his daughter's belongings from her ex-husband's house, or should the belongings be collected and sent to him?

If a man divorces his wife with a revocable divorce, he is not permitted to expel her from his home, nor is she permitted to leave before the expiry of her 'iddah (definition) (waiting period), and he has the right to take her back during this period. However, if the 'iddah has expired, or if the divorce is irrevocable (bain), she is not obliged to remain in the marital home, and she may take her dowry (jahaaz). The husband is not required to transport her dowry; rather, he must enable her to retrieve it from where it is, because it is a trust in his keeping. The place for returning a trust is the place where it was deposited. The husband must clear the trust and its owner, not transport it. If the spouses disagree on the place for delivering the dowry, the matter is referred to the judiciary.
