Is it permissible for a man to take back his wife whom he divorced through an agent, knowing that her divorce took place in court, and he wishes to take her back and has a daughter with her?

If the divorce is revocable (less than three, without compensation, and not by court order), the husband may take his wife back before her 'iddah (waiting period) expires. However, if the divorce is irrevocable, he may remarry her with a new contract, unless it is a major irrevocable divorce (three divorces), in which case she is not lawful for him until she marries another man willingly, and he consummates the marriage with her, and then he divorces her or dies, and her 'iddah ends. The husband must document the return or the new contract in the courts.
