If the husband places the matter of his wife's divorce in her hands, then she has the power to divorce, and this is not considered coercion of the husband as long as he can revoke this authority. If the wife divorces herself before consummation, the divorce is irrevocable, and the wife cannot be taken back except with a new contract. The husband can retract his delegation of divorce authority to his wife even if it was for compensation.
