Muslims residing in Western countries must adhere to the conditions of their residency, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Muslims are bound by their conditions." It is forbidden to use fraud and forgery to obtain better housing, as Islam prohibits falsehood and deception. Allah Almighty says: "So avoid the word of falsehood" [Quran 22:30]. And the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever deceives is not one of us," and "Beware, and (do not commit) false speech and false witness." Falsehood is describing something contrary to its reality. Therefore, one must be content with waiting or renting another house, as the situation mentioned is not a necessity that permits forgery.
