Is it permissible for the Friday Imam to present another person to lead the congregational prayer after the sermon, if that person is his teacher from whom he learned?

The majority of scholars recommend that the person who delivers the sermon should also lead the prayer, but this is not obligatory. The Malikis, however, believe that it is not permissible for anyone other than the preacher to lead the prayer unless there is an excuse. Therefore, according to the majority of scholars, there is no harm in someone asking their teacher to lead the Friday prayer.
