The answer

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, owned several swords, some have counted them up to eleven. The author of Qurrat al-Absar mentioned that he had nine swords: Dhul-Fiqar, al-Qal'i, al-Battar, al-Hatf, al-Mikhdham, al-Qadib, al-Adb, al-Rasub, in addition to al-Samsam and al-Lahif. The most famous among them is Dhul-Fiqar, which he acquired as spoils on the Day of Badr. It is said that it was made from an iron bar found buried near the Kaaba, and it was named Dhul-Fiqar due to the presence of faqarat (vertebra-like indentations) in its middle.
