What is broadcast on televisions is often not free from prohibition due to the display of unveiled or immodestly dressed women, or programs and abominations, or wasting time. If it is known that the occupants of the homes will use the television for what is permissible, then there is no objection to participating in furnishing these dwellings with them and what they need. However, if that is not known, then participation is not permissible, because it falls under cooperating in sin.
