What supplications are recited in the last tashahhud after the تحيات (attahiyat) and the الصلاة الإبراهيمية (Ibrahimic prayer), and does the imam prolong them?
It is recommended for the worshiper in the final , after completing it and before the , to seek refuge with Allah from four things: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of Hell, and from the torment of the grave, and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the False Messiah (Dajjal)."
Also, seeking refuge from sin and debt has been narrated, as well as the supplication: "O Allah, I have greatly wronged myself, and none forgives sins except You, so grant me forgiveness from You and have mercy on me. Indeed, You are the Forgiving, the Merciful."
After these supplications for refuge, the worshiper is permitted to supplicate for whatever good they wish, pertaining to this world and the Hereafter.
