Is it obligatory to shave the armpit and pubic hair of the deceased when washing and cleaning them, or is it sufficient to limit it to ablution and ghusl?

Scholars have differed on the ruling concerning the removal of a deceased person's armpit hair, pubic hair, nail trimming, and mustache trimming. The Shafi'is hold two opinions, with the preferred one being to leave them as they are. The Hanafis and Malikis consider it disliked (makrooh) to perform these actions on the deceased. The preponderant view among scholars is that it is disliked, which is the opinion of the majority.
