Is it permissible to wash the deceased in the bathroom and dispose of the washing water there? And should their nails, armpit hair, and pubic hair be trimmed if they are long, or should they be left as they are?

The scholars have permitted washing the deceased in any secluded place, such as a house or a tent. The jurists of the Hanbali school and others have explicitly allowed it in a bathroom. They also permitted pouring water over the deceased. It is permissible to leave the deceased under what is called a shower, provided there is the intention and the recitation of Basmala, and a strong presumption that the entire body will be covered. As for trimming nails, plucking armpit hair, and shaving pubic hair, scholars have differed regarding its ruling. The preponderant opinion among scholars is that it is disliked (makrooh), and this is the view of the majority.
