Will a Muslim monotheist who believes in God and in His Books, Messengers, and Angels, and acknowledges Him as the Creator and Evolver, but does not pray or fast, be made to stand firm during the questioning about the torment of the grave?

Whoever abandons prayer and fasting, denying their obligation, and dies upon that state, is an infidel (kafir) by the unanimous consensus of scholars, and will not be granted firmness (thabat) during the questioning in the grave; rather, Allah will lead him astray. As for whoever abandons them out of laziness, the majority of scholars hold that he is a fasiq (transgressor), and is subject to Allah's will if he dies upon that: He may forgive him and grant him firmness during the questioning, or He may punish him and lead him astray. Scholars have differed regarding excommunicating (takfir) one who abandons prayer out of laziness: The view of the majority is that he is to be executed as a hadd punishment, but is not considered a disbeliever, whereas a group of scholars held that he is an infidel. The infidel will be questioned in his grave according to the majority, contrary to the saying of some of the Salaf.
