The answer

Breaking the fast in Ramadan is permissible for one who fears perishing, or damage to some of their organs, or contracting an illness that permits dry ablution (tayammum), or if one is in need of working and cannot postpone it. In such cases, one should eat only as much as is necessary, then refrain from eating for the rest of the day, and make up for that day later. However, if the matter is merely tolerable fatigue or if one can stop working, then breaking the fast is not permissible. Whoever breaks their fast in such circumstances must repent and make up for the day.
