What is the ruling on a man wearing earphones that resemble a necklace?

The fundamental principle regarding clothing is permissibility and lawfulness, unless there is evidence to prove its prohibition. This is based on the Almighty's saying: "O Children of Adam, We have bestowed upon you clothing to conceal your private parts and as adornment. But the clothing of righteousness – that is best. That is from the signs of Allah," and His saying: "Say, 'Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah which He has produced for His servants and the good things, pure and lawful, of provision?' Say, 'They are for those who have believed during the worldly life [and will be exclusively theirs] on the Day of Resurrection.'" Based on this, there is no harm in a man wearing headphones that encircle his neck, as this does not constitute the forbidden imitation of women. This is because it is not exclusive to women.
