How can one deal with a stubborn father who does not respond to advice based on the Quran and Sunnah?

A son must be dutiful and obedient to his father, even if the father is harsh or stubborn, as long as the obedience is in what is good and not in disobedience to Allah. If the father commands an act of disobedience, then obedience is not obligatory, but one must still accompany him with kindness.
