What is the ruling on dealing with a father who forces his son to violate the Prophetic Sunnah, insults and beats him, and describes him as rigid, considering this to be a form of disobedience, especially after the son had been obedient to him in all matters?

It is advisable to be patient and fear Allah when facing harm and aversion from relatives. Obedience to the father is not permissible in disobedience to Allah; "Obedience is only in what is good and right." One must deal kindly with the father and not mistreat him, and supplicate for his guidance, especially when traveling. It is also important to maintain communication and show kindness to him after returning from travel.
