It is permissible to have intercourse with one's wife in the bathroom, although it is disliked (makrooh) as it goes against proper etiquette and makes it impossible to recite the prescribed supplication (du'a). Intercourse in a mosque is forbidden, based on the Almighty's saying: "{And do not have sexual relations with them while you are in seclusion [i'tikaf] in the mosques}." Intercourse in the presence of people is disliked if the private parts are covered, and it is forbidden if they are uncovered.
