Are sins, transgressions, and major sins considered types of tribulation?

Allah created humans to test them with religious and divine decrees, so that the grateful and the patient may be distinguished. Divine wisdom necessitated the تركيب (installation/creation) of desire and anger in humans, which makes sin an inherent part of humanity. Allah opened the door of repentance to His servants out of mercy for them, for the one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin. A servant is never free from error and shortcomings, and a servant is not afflicted by committing a sin, but rather by abandoning and delaying repentance. All children of Adam are sinners, and the best of sinners are those who repent, those who increase their repentance according to the frequency of their mistakes. The believer was created to be tested, repentant, and forgetful; he repents, then forgets and returns (to sin), then remembers and repents. Sin is an inevitable matter for the servant, and the shrewd one is he who brings forth good deeds that erase evil deeds.
