How does a person repent from sins, since there is no believing servant except that he has a sin that he habitually commits from time to time, as stated in the Hadith: "There is no believing servant except that he has a sin that he habitually commits from time to time, or a sin that he persists in until he departs from the world"?

Most often, the children of Adam err, except for the prophets, and "Every son of Adam is a sinner, and the best of sinners are those who repent." Repentance is always required because a human being is deficient no matter how much worship they perform, and that is why seeking forgiveness has been legislated even after acts of worship. Sins are divided into major and minor, and minor sins are expiated by avoiding major sins. Repentance and seeking forgiveness are required for all sins, whether committed knowingly or unknowingly. Sincere repentance, through it Allah forgives all sins, for Allah forgives all sins. And whoever dies from among the people of Tawhid (monotheism) without repenting, then he is subject to Allah's will; if He wills, He will forgive him and admit him into Paradise, and if He wills, He will punish him then admit him into Paradise.
