Must a fidya (expiatory a feeding) be given for every day a chronically ill person misses fasting, and what is its amount in Kuwaiti Dinars, and is it permissible to give it in cash to a poor maternal uncle?

Fasting Ramadan is obligatory upon every adult, sane, capable, resident, non-traveling Muslim, who is free from impediments to fasting. Allah has permitted the sick to break their fast if fasting increases their illness. If the illness is chronic and there is no hope of recovery, then fasting is waived for them by scholarly consensus, and they must pay a fidyah (expiation) by feeding a poor person for each day, a mudd of food (approximately 750 grams) from the staple food of the people of the land. It is not permissible to give money in lieu of food. If the person in hardship cannot afford the fidyah, then it is waived for them.
