Is it permissible to give charity, perform Umrah and Hajj, hold a wedding, and are prayer and fasting valid, all with money earned from working in a supermarket that sells haram goods (beer and pork) alongside halal goods?

The questioner must repent from practicing the forbidden profession. The conditions for repentance are: abstaining from the disobedience, regretting having committed it, and resolving not to return to it.

To dispose of unlawfully gained money, it must be spent on the welfare of Muslims, such as building schools and hospitals. This should be done with the intention of ridding oneself of it, not with the intention of giving charity. If the questioner is poor, it is permissible for him to take from it what removes his need, and he may marry with it.

It is not permissible to give this money as charity, or to perform Umrah or Hajj with it, or to marry with it, except for someone who took it due to poverty.

However, if the questioner was ignorant of the prohibition of the work when earning this money, then there is no blame upon him for using it after repenting. He may give it as charity, or perform Umrah and Hajj with it, or marry with it, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "So whoever receives an admonition from his Lord and desists, he may have what has already passed, and his affair is left to Allah. But whoever returns [to sin] — those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally."
