Is it obligatory for a father to compel his five-year-old daughter to recite lengthy adhkar, such as "Lā ilāha illallāh waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu..." one hundred times, despite her boredom and deceit, and the ensuing anger of the father and his annoyance of the mother, even though the mother fears the daughter's future aversion to adhkar?

A girl at the age of five is not obligated to pray or recite adhkar (remembrances of Allah), and her father is mistaken in burdening her with them. He should leave her to her natural inclination until the age of seven. Then, he should gently instruct her to pray and gradually teach her what she can manage of the adhkar, so as to encourage her towards obedience without alienating her. He should also supplicate for her righteousness.
