Is it permissible for a husband to have intercourse with his wife anally, and does divorce occur if it happens?

Intercourse through the rear can be understood in two ways: First: Insertion into the front passage from the rear, and this is permissible. Second: Intercourse in the anus itself, which is strictly forbidden, and the one who commits it is guilty of a major sin. The wife must not obey her husband in this matter. Practicing this act does not make the wife unlawful to her husband nor does it divorce her. However, if the husband insists on forcing her, she must refer the matter to the Sharia courts.
