Is cultivating and harvesting grapes considered forbidden if they will later be used to make wine, taking into account that the curse in the noble Hadith begins from the pressing stage?

Cultivating grapes and selling them is not inherently forbidden. However, it becomes forbidden if it is known with certainty or strong presumption that the buyer will use them to make wine, because that is considered cooperation in sin and aggression, which is prohibited by the verse: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." This falls under the principle of sadd al-dharā’iʿ (blocking the means), which prohibits anything that leads to the forbidden, for the means to something take its ruling. There are other proofs for this, such as the prohibition of insulting the deities of disbelievers if it leads to insulting Allah, the prohibition of selling weapons during times of strife, and the prohibition of selling anything if it is known that the buyer will use it in disobedience to Allah.
