What is the ruling on offering the funeral prayer (Salat al-Janazah) after the Asr prayer for someone who missed the congregational Asr prayer? And is the funeral prayer accepted from someone who missed the Asr prayer in the mosque and at home and feared missing the funeral prayer? And is it a condition to offer only one funeral prayer per day, or is it permissible to offer more than one funeral prayer that occurred on the same day?

For the validity of the funeral prayer, it is not a condition that the obligatory prayer be performed before it. It is preferable to offer the funeral prayer before the obligatory prayer if one fears missing it. It is also legislated for a Muslim to pray over multiple funerals, even if numerous, due to the great reward in it. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever attends the funeral until the prayer is offered over it will have one qirat, and whoever attends it until it is buried will have two qirats." And the two qirats are like two great mountains, and the qirat multiplies with the multiplicity of funerals.
