What is the ruling on someone who intentionally or unintentionally pauses and then repeats part of the final Tashahhud in prayer? And does repeating part of the Tashahhud differ from repeating it entirely with regard to the prostration of forgetfulness (sujud al-sahw)?

Whoever repeats the final , whether forgetfully or intentionally, their prayer is valid, and no prostration of forgetfulness ( al-sahw) is required of them. Repeating only a part of it is, by extension, also permissible.
