Is it permissible to break the fast in Ramadan if the company compels an employee to take his annual leave during this month, and how is this day to be made up if one breaks the fast?

There is ample opportunity to relieve oneself with family at night, and during the day by occupying oneself with the Quran, doing good deeds, visiting brothers, attending to household needs, and studying religious knowledge, along with organizing one's time.

It is permissible to fondle one's wife during the day without intercourse, provided you are confident you will not fall into the forbidden. However, one must be cautious of having intercourse with one's spouse during the daytime in Ramadan. Whoever has intercourse during the daytime in Ramadan has committed a grave sin that necessitates a severe expiation.
