Is it permissible to break the fast on the first days of Ramadan with the intention of making them up later, in order to combine a pre-scheduled work leave with marriage before Ramadan?

Marriage is not an excuse that permits breaking the fast in Ramadan. Breaking the fast is only permissible for the sick, the traveler, and others who have valid excuses, as Allah Almighty says: "So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] - then [he must fast] an equal number of other days." Allah has permitted a man to approach his wife during the nights of Ramadan, but not during the day, as Allah Almighty says: "It has been made permissible for you the night preceding the fast to approach your wives. They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them. Allah knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He accepted your repentance and forgave you. So now, have intercourse with them." If one fears falling into something forbidden, then he should postpone the marriage until after Ramadan. As for breaking the fast, it is not permissible.
