The answer

Marriage is not among the agreed-upon permissible excuses for breaking the fast. Allah has allowed a man to approach his wife during the nights of , but not during the day. Allah Almighty says: "It has been made permissible for you the night preceding the fast to approach your wives [for sexual relations]. They are clothing for you, and you are clothing for them. Allah knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He accepted your repentance and forgave you. So now, you may have intercourse with them."
