Does divorce take effect if the wife is not informed of it, and can the spouses renew the legal contract without informing the wife or her guardian?

If what happened was merely the husband informing some of his friends that he would divorce his pregnant wife, this is not considered a divorce, because a promise to divorce is not a divorce. However, if he uttered the words of divorce, then his wife is divorced from the moment he uttered them, even if she was pregnant. The divorce of a pregnant woman is valid by the consensus of jurists, and her knowledge of it is not a condition. The wife's waiting period (iddah) ends when she gives birth. If it was one or two divorces, she cannot return to him except with a new contract and dowry, and with her consent and the consent of her guardian. If it was three divorces, she is not permissible for him until she marries another husband and he consummates the marriage with her, and then he divorces her or dies. We advise referring to the Sharia court.
