Is expiation (kaffarah) obligatory for one who watched a video of a woman giving birth?

It is not permissible to look at the 'awrah (private parts) except for those whom the Lawgiver has permitted (the husband, the wife, or the doctor out of necessity). One must lower their gaze from what they have seen. The expiation for this sin is seeking forgiveness (istighfar) and repentance (tawbah), by regretting the act and resolving not to return to it. Through seeking forgiveness and repentance, the sin is erased, by the permission of Allah.
