Is going to a sorcerer to make a love charm (hijab mahabba) considered forbidden, like going to a soothsayer? Can this be done using only the Holy Qur’an? And how can one get rid of it without harming the young man?

This man's action is an enchantment of affection or a love spell, intended to bring together those who hate each other or people for specific reasons. This act is forbidden and impermissible. Sheikh Al-Uthaymeen described it as "destruction and ruin." If enchanting love between spouses is forbidden, then attracting the love of someone who is not a spouse is even more forbidden. One must be wary of those who claim to heal with the Qur'an while being sorcerers. You have fallen into something forbidden by complying with your colleagues' request. Sorcery can be nullified by reciting Al-Mu'awwidhatayn (the two surahs of refuge) and other verses that invalidate sorcery. It is preferable to present it to specialists among righteous and virtuous people to nullify it correctly.
