Is it permissible to place separators such as papers and pens between the pages of the Mushaf?

There is no harm in placing a paper or pen inside the pages of the Mushaf, as long as it does not lead to its desecration or the tearing of its pages. The basic ruling for this is permissibility due to the lack of evidence for prohibition.
