It is authentically established in the sound that a donkey brays when it sees a devil. This does not contradict the chaining of devils in , because chaining means restriction and not a complete prevention of movement or harm. Chained devils may still cause harm, but in a weaker manner than outside of Ramadan. Furthermore, a donkey's braying is triggered simply by seeing a devil, whether the devil is chained or not. These unseen matters are believed in by a Muslim without delving into their details.
