The obligation of prayer concludes with the prayer of the Imam. The schools of thought differed regarding the dislike of a second congregational prayer in the mosque after the regular Imam has prayed. The majority disliked it, while the Hanbalis permitted it without dislike. When there is a conflict between the interest of a second congregational prayer and the interest of delivering a lesson, the interest of the lesson is often prioritized due to its widespread benefit. Those who are late can pray outside the mosque or delay their prayer if there is ample time. If it is possible to combine both, that would be better. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to admonish people immediately after the prayer, and it was not reported that he would wait for those who missed the first congregation.
